Garena has launched Garena introduced the Garena Professional League (GPL) in the month of May 2012, a six month-long professional gaming league that includes more than 100 matches online. The initial season of GPL includes an League of Legends competition which is comprised of six professional teams. The teams are made up of the top players from their nations. These teams include: AHQ (Asia), Saigon Fantastic Five (Saigon Jokers), Bangkok Titans (Bangkok) Kuala Lumpur Hunters(Kuala Lumpur) The Manila Eagles(Manila) and Taipei Assassins.
