Liza Snyder

Snyder has been born in Northampton, Massachusetts. Her mother, a songwriter/singer has been her father. Snyder is also an instructor of theatre in Smith College. Johnny Green was a five-time Academy Award winning composer and Betty Furness was an actress as well as a consumer journalist were the maternal grandparents of her mother. Snyder is a graduate of New York City's Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre where she was trained in acting under guidance from Sanford Meisner. Snyder began her acting career in television dramas such as The Trials of Rosie O'Neill as well as Murder, She Wrote. In 1993, she was tapped in the role of Molly Whelan on the ABC-syndicated crime drama Sirens. The actress co-starred on two TV films, as well as appearing as a guest actor for Chicago Hope and Pacific Blue after the show was cancelled. The actress was a regular on The NBC comedy Jesse which starred Christina Applegate from 1998-2000. Her debut on the big screen was the secondary role of Pay It Forward which was directed by Mimi Leder. Following that, Snyder began starring as Christine Hughes on the CBS sitcom Yes, Dear. The series ended in 2006. Snyder took a 5-year break after Yes, Dear. In 2011, Snyder came back to television with a guest staring role as a transplant patient on House. She was back in her Yes, Dear role in the 2013 season of Raising Hope. Liza Liza Liza
