Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also part of her professional career. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. She later as Irma's German grandmother in Fury the film, which came out in the year 2014.
