Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's wife in Friendsin the show's initial episode.
